Infantile pure yolk sac tumor of testis - A case report

Abstract

Intra-abdominal testicular tumors are uncommon in prepubertal children. The present study is a rare case of intra-abdominal testicular yolk sac tumor with elevated Alpha feto protein levels whose diagnosis was confirmed by histopathology and immuniohistochemistry. Serum tumor markers and radiological examination also aids towards the diagnosis of nonpalpable undescended testis.
